Jr Band second lined around the school... They wowed the crowds with their new found skills. While Concert Band kids showed togetherness and they knocked out their first performance of the year. Concert Band performed a medley called “Fright Night”. It featured Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Funeral March of a Marionette, Theme from Jaws, Addams Family, Night on Bald Mountain and Thriller 😅. This was the culmination of lessons, practice, listening and band classes over the past 6 weeks.

Hard work- Many students in our band program are performing on their instrument for the first time. While the "OG" Concert band kids scrambled from their auditions classes to catch up in time for Halloween performances. Either way it's always a push and a great challenge to begin the year. I’m so proud of all the students and thankful for the families and their tremendous sacrifice for the arts.
