 BPC Ensemble 2023/24

Happy Black History Month,

I'm so excited for the weeks and months ahead. We have so much amazing music and performances to look forward to. Form Santa Cruz Jazz Festival to Yoshis we are a very blessed community.

Rehearsals for SCJF begin this week. Please do your best to attend the rehearsals and to practice regularly on your own so you are ready. Everyone should strive to be better for for this festival. If you need help don't be afraid to ask. Also work with your private teacher to insure you are improving your solo and parts. Thank you for hard work to get better.

We will continue to discuss the music that we perform both from a cultural and societal prospective. From Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie to Miles Davis. We will enjoy the incredible contributions these musician have made to the world.

The bands will join together for a performance of "The Work Song" by Nat Adderley during town hall this week.
